Privacy statement

The form

When you send the form we receive your name, the contact details you leave and your message: the place, the fact and the link. Nothing else is collected, and you need no account.

Your name and contact details are never published; we use them only to ask you about your message.

Counting visits

Visits are counted by a script served from this site. It sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. Pressing a contact button on a place’s page sends one event naming the kind of button, the place and its activities, and nothing about you.

Your location

Your location is requested only when you press the location button. It stays in your browser while the tab is open, is used there to work out distances and is sent to no one, this site included.

A station, school or area you pick by name is remembered in your browser for your next visit.

The map in the filters shows OpenStreetMap streets: opening it makes your browser load map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your IP address and the part of the map you view, as with any website. The point you pick stays in your browser.

Listed places and your rights

The list repeats what places tell their customers on their own websites and in their Google listings. Where one person runs a place, a phone number or address is shown only if that person published it.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, the AVG in Dutch): parents need these facts to compare activities. Nothing is sold and nobody is profiled.

Anyone named in the list can ask to see, correct or delete what it holds about them, or object to being listed, through the form. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.

Deleting a message

Want a message you sent deleted? Send the form again and say which message it was. We delete it within a month.
